Dr. Naftali Loewenthal is professor of Jewish Studies at University College London and a renowned lecturer on Jewish Spirituality. Born in Haifa, he studied Hebrew Literature and Jewish History at University College London, and later received his PhD on Hasidism there.
He is the author of: Communicating the Infinite: The Emergence of the Habad School . His forthcoming book, Hippy in the Mikveh, tackles the relevance of Hassidism in a post-modern world.
He lives in London with his wife Kate Loewenthal, professor of Psychology at Royal Holloway University in London. They are proud parents and grand parents of a large family.
