Writer, teacher and popular lecturer, Sara Esther Crispe, is the editor of the women’s site www.TheJewishWoman.org, a project of chabad.org where she is a featured writer. For eight years, she and her husband Asher Crispe, co-directed The Institute for Advanced Learning for Jewish Women, in Israel. She received her BA in Literature/Writing, from the University of California, San Diego, and her MA in Literary Theory from Brooklyn College.

Sara Esther is currently working on a book celebrating gender difference according to Kabbalah. She lives with her husband and four beautiful children in Merion, PA.

I Place My Soul in WritingWomen’s Writing Workshop
This interactive class explains the necessity and purpose of writing, according to Kabbalah and Chassidut, in terms of our emotional and intellectual growth. Through learning how writing is the physical expression of our innermost thoughts, we glean lessons and practical projects for communicating and clarifying our ideas, both within and outside of ourselves. Participants bring paper and pen and a desire to tap into the depths of one's soul.

Begins at 7:00 pm
Babysitting will be provided onsite. Older children can enjoy creating a Chanukah art project. Please reserve Childcare in advance.
