Dr Lawrence Schiffman is an authoritative Jewish scholar and historian, and a fascinating speaker and lecturer. He has written over 7 books, hundreds of articles and has been a featured expert on the PBS Nova series documentary, “Secrets of the Dead Sea Scrolls” and appears regularly in the popular educational TV series “Mysteries of the Bible”, on A&E. He received his BA, MA and PhD degrees from the Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies at Brandeis University.
